As a Production Engineer and toolmaker with over 30 years experience in tool design, 3D cad modelling and CAD/CAM, Ken’s extensive experience includes designing fixtures used in repairs for the Australian Air Force Jets, robotic welding machines, numerous plastic moulds and multi-stage press tools.

Having been with Design Resource for nearly 10 years specialising in 3D software, including both Pro Engineer and Solidworks to ensure that all 3D models can be integrated seamlessly with other 3D programs and manufacturers, the list of products developed include an extensive range of lights for Energizer and the design of Verifone’s range of hand held payment terminals.

Working closely with both manufacturers in Australia and overseas to ensure that the end products meet specific design requirements, and that tooling used maintains the integrity of the design, a main focus of Ken’s role is to reduce the cycle time from design to delivery without compromising product quality.

Ken’s interest include both triathlons where he was the National President of Triathlon Australia for over 4 year and snow skiing.
